ChinArmNet Privacy and Data Usage Policy for Employers

ChinArmNet is dedicated to building a trusted ecosystem where job seekers and employers can connect with confidence. This policy sets forth the ethical and legal obligations that apply to all companies and businesses accessing candidate information—including CVs, contact details, video profiles, and other related data—through the ChinArmNet platform. By using our services, employers acknowledge and agree to abide by the principles outlined below.

Respect for Privacy

Employers must treat the privacy of all job seekers with the utmost respect. Personal data accessed via ChinArmNet, including but not limited to CVs, contact information, and video profiles, shall be used solely for legitimate recruitment purposes. Any use beyond evaluating a candidate’s suitability for a specific role is strictly prohibited.

Prohibition of Misuse

Job seeker information obtained through ChinArmNet may not be employed for unethical, illegal, or harmful activities. Prohibited uses include, but are not limited to, spamming, unsolicited marketing, discrimination on the basis of race, gender, religion, nationality, or any other protected characteristic, and any conduct that violates applicable data protection laws. Employers are expected to act with integrity and in full compliance with all relevant legal standards.

Non-Disclosure and Non-Sharing

Information acquired through the platform, including CVs, video profiles, and any other personal data, must remain strictly confidential. Employers are prohibited from sharing, selling, distributing, or otherwise disclosing such information to third parties or on other platforms without the explicit, prior consent of the job seeker. Access to candidate data is granted solely for evaluating potential employment opportunities within the employer’s own organization.

Data Security

Employers are responsible for maintaining the security of any data downloaded or otherwise obtained from ChinArmNet. Appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards must be implemented to protect job seeker information against unauthorized access, accidental loss, alteration, or misuse. Employers shall promptly notify ChinArmNet in the event of any security incident affecting such data.

Compliance with Laws

All employers using ChinArmNet must comply fully with applicable data protection and privacy laws. This includes, but is not limited to, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for individuals in the European Union, the Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL) in China, and any other local or international regulations relevant to the job seeker’s location. Adherence to these legal frameworks is a non-negotiable condition of platform access.

Transparency and Consent

Employers shall maintain transparency regarding the purposes for which they collect and use job seeker information. Where a specific use—such as sharing data with subsidiaries, affiliated entities, or external partners—requires additional consent beyond what is provided by the job seeker through ChinArmNet, such consent must be obtained directly from the individual in a clear and documented manner.

Accountability

Employers are fully accountable for their actions and the actions of their personnel while using the ChinArmNet platform. Any breach of this policy may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of access to ChinArmNet services, and may also subject the violating party to legal action as appropriate.

Reporting Violations

If an employer becomes aware of any misuse, unauthorized access, or breach of job seeker information, they must report the incident without delay to ChinArmNet at [chinarmnet@gmail.com]. ChinArmNet reserves the right to investigate any suspected violations and to take corrective action, including referral to relevant authorities where warranted.

Job Seeker Rights

Employers acknowledge that job seekers retain ownership of their personal information and may, at any time, request the correction or deletion of their data from an employer’s records. Such requests must be honored promptly and in accordance with applicable laws. Employers shall cooperate with ChinArmNet to facilitate the exercise of these rights.

Ethical Recruitment Practices

Employers are expected to uphold the highest standards of ethical recruitment. This includes providing accurate and truthful job descriptions, treating all candidates fairly and without discrimination, and maintaining timely, respectful communication throughout the hiring process. Ethical conduct strengthens trust within the community and reflects positively on all parties.
